Thursday, July 23: Fun Breakfast Party

It's great to network at conventions so when Bob Self from Baby Tattoo Books stopped by the booth and invited us to a "breakfast party" that evening at the Hilton Gaslamp, we said, "We'd love to stop by."

At the close of the first full-day of Comic-Con, it was great to relax and meet other artists and exhibitors; our host, Bob Self - president of Baby Tattoo Books - was gracious to include us.

Shortly after arriving "for breakfast," Doug met Molly Crabapple - artist, author and the founder of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School. She invited us to Friday evening's 2-Year San Diego Sketchy's Anniversary and Comic-Con Afterparty at the Ruby Room. (check the blog later for photos from an evening where "life-drawing meets cabaret.")
